Catchpole Corporation offers speaker program management services and information products for technology companies and PR agencies. I worked with Catchpole on marketing stragegy, marketing collateral creation and business development.

Digital Lumens provides LED-based intelligent lighting systems that reduce the cost of industrial lighting while slashing your carbon footprint. I worked with them to develop web copy and marketing collateral to support the launch of the company.

eCopy which is now part of Nuance (Nasdaq: NUAN), is the market leader in the electronic distribution of ad hoc paper documents.  I worked with product management on a messaging guide for channel partners and product marketing on marketing communications pieces.

E Ink is the world's leading supplier of electronic paper display technology (think Amazon Kindle).  I wrote and designed the brochure used for the launch of their color display technology.

HomeWorks Media Group was a Boston-based publisher of home & garden resource guides. Working in the dual roles of Managing Editor and Vice President of Marketing, I launched the company and turned a concept into several 150-page, full-color glossy magazines. I wrote articles and ad copy, copy edited submitted articles, pitched potential advertisers on sales calls, and worked on development of the web site and all of the marketing materials including the trade show booth. I also hired the public relations agency and managed the team throughout the launch of the first two editions.

idealab! creates and operates technology businesses. I worked with idealab! to market their offerings to the entrepreneurial community in Boston.

Iron Mountain (NYSE: IRM) is the leader in Records & Information Management. Prior to joing them full time, I did some copywriting for data protection solutions, developed marketing materials, and handled the "behind the scenes" details for trade shows and special events.

KIPDA is the Kentuckiana Regional Planning and Development Agency. With a partner,  I worked on community outreach to low-income seniors to increase enrollment for Medicare's "Extra Help with Prescription Drugs" program.  Marketing included public relations, blogging, getting flyers posted on community bulletin boards at local pharmacies, libraries, and churches, and public service announcements (PSAs) for TV and radio.

Meeting Maker, Inc. (now PeopleCube) was the leading calendaring and scheduling software manufacturer. I worked with Meeting Maker on overall marketing strategy and on their marketing communications materials.

Newbury Networks (now part of Juniper Networks via the acquisition of Trapeze Networks) was the first and only company to introduce a new breed of network technologies and services known as Location-Enabled Networks™ (LENs) for 802.11-based WLANs. I was the marketing person who launched the company by creating the first website, handling all PR activities, and developing the initial marketing communications materials.

ScanSoft which is now part of Nuance (Nasdaq: NUAN), was the leading supplier of imaging, speech and language solutions used to automate a wide range of manual processes. I worked with them on sales materials for the corporate and medical markets for their speech recognition products.

Viridity Software (now part of Schneider Electric) helps organizations reduce energy consumption and better utilize existing IT equipment and space in their data centers. I ran marketing activities that educated managers on data center information management while generating leads for sales. I also developed content that was utilized across the website, blog, webinars, white papers, ebooks, and social networks.

VistaPrint is the source for high-quality graphic design and  Internet printing for everything from business cards and brochures to invitations and thank you cards.  I handled media relations for the small business press and targeted vertical market press.

Yankee Group is a research analyst firm focused on global connectivity.  I filled in for the marketing director while she was on maternity leave.  Projects included:  people management, lead generation activity, corporate rebranding, and copywriting.
